  • Animal Control Officers serve Minneapolis from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends. We're on call 24/7 for animal-related emergencies.

If you have donations please just leave them at the front door and we will pick them up, no appointment needed.

ATTENTION - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Per the State Mandate the Minneapolis Animal Care and Control shelter is not open to the public until further notice. Our officers will continue to respond to emergency calls where the lives or safety of people or animals are in imminent danger. Please contact 311 or 612-673-6222 with questions or 911 in an emergency.
